NOTE: This review is apropos of the Bee Cave/Lakeway location on Ranch Road 620. While this review is for the chain itself, the quality may be different at other locations.
Hat Creek Burger Company is the epitome of the growing availability of gluten-free options in the fast-food industry. With decent hamburgers and many GF options, Hat Creek Burger company meets the criteria for Celiac's, but if you're looking for something above and beyond, you may want to look elsewhere. I do want to clarify that there is nothing wrong with Hat Creek Burger Company's gluten-free selections, nor that there is a problem with cross-contamination or customer service. In terms of fast-food establishments, Hat Creek ranks near the top along with In-N-Out in terms of their care of gluten sensitivity. The only reason I would not highly recommend Hat Creek is that their burgers aren't (in my opinion) very good to begin with, as the food is decent; not amazing, not terrible, not gross, not bad, not great, but decent. With the exception of their Fry Sauce, the restaurant's toppings are, like I previously exclaimed, decent. The menu has a lot of gluten-free options, from the gluten-free chicken nuggets to the gluten-free buns or lettuce wraps.

The restaurant (I went to the Bee Cave location on Ranch Road 620) was clean to an extent; while there were the occasional dirty tables, I am not sure whether the people eating at them just left or not, so I can't blame the restaurant. While I can't blame the restaurant on the dirty tables, I can otherwise state that I believe that the restaurant usually is a clean establishment; most of the tables usually seem to be sparkling clean. With a playground for children, the restaurant is great for families who need to eat somewhere fast. Otherwise, I wouldn't advise against going, but with all of the great restaurants in Austin, including Hopdoddy's, I would not highly recommend going to Hat Creek Burger Company, but that's fine; not all restaurants have to be amazing, sometimes a restaurant with gluten-free options is enough.
