While their ordering process for gluten-free food can be needlessly complicated, Madam Mam is a great gluten-free takeout option for Thai food. While their gluten-free menu is massive, I have a few favorites. The spring rolls are usually fresh and vibrant, especially when paired with the delicious gluten-free sweet and sour sauce that comes with it. The bankrupt noodles, a spicy twist on pad thai noodles, are silky and packed with robust flavors; I personally like to order it with pork, as I feel it deepens the richness of the dish. And, while the quality can sometimes vary, the sweet sticky rice is usually a light but unique dessert (it has been dry however the last two times I went). However, while their gluten-free options are plentiful, the process of finding the gluten-free menu is difficult. Since their website was malfunctioning every time I went on it, I had to search for a picture of their gluten-free menu, which I found eventually after around 20 minutes of searching online. The gluten-free menu, however, once you find it, offers a wide variety of options. Making the experience of ordering even harder, we had to call the restaurant after ordering online to clarify which dishes we wanted gluten-free. You have to do this, as although some of the dishes are exactly the same as the regular version, some aren't. For example, the spring rolls usually come with a peanut sauce, but the gluten-free version comes with a sweet and sour sauce (which is really good anyway). I will say, however, that the process of picking up the food is a different story. It has never taken more than a minute to pick up the food once arriving, and there aren't usually a lot of people in there at once (the most people I've seen at once besides the staff was around 4). They also have signs of where to walk and social distance inside the restaurant, further limiting exposure to COVID. Overall, Madame Mams is a decent gluten-free Thai takeout establishment.
